Cape Youth Adventures is located in Somerset West which is in the Western Cape in South Africa. Cape Youth Adventures’ core team consists of Herman and Erica Kielblock and Theresa Diedericks. Herman has been involved in the tourism industry for more than 12 years; he recently completed a MBA in tourism development and is extremely passionate about the outdoors, sports and having as much fun as possible! Herman has a vision for Cape Youth Adventures to be regarded as the preferred provider of all indoor and outdoor youth ventures in the Western Cape, based on the quality of our service delivery and our business ethics towards parents and children, the community within which we operate, our employees and the natural environment.
Erica is the financial and administrative whizz of Cape Youth Adventures and her flare for arts and crafts is also a great asset for the development of the creative activities for our camps .Her past work experience with Medi Clinic has also helped us in developing a good working relationship with the hospital group that ensures all our camp kids will be treated quickly and effectively in case of an emergency.

Theresa is a mother of two and a trained teacher who has decided to exchange the classroom for the offices of Cape Youth Adventures; she focuses on product development and the operating side of our camps. Her knowledge of teaching methods and children garnered form years spent in the classroom and on sports fields and being a mother of two, makes her an immiscible part of our team.
Furthermore, we also have seasonal staffs that assist us to manage and run our school holiday camps during summer school holidays and winter school holidays. We know that our employees are our most valuable asset and the key to running successful kids camps. With this in mind we make every effort to ensure we choose the perfect people to become part of the growing Cape Youth Adventures team. We ensure that our staffs has a wide range of experience, enthusiasm and energy – a large majority of our staff are studying towards a career in childcare, education, coaching, leisure or entertainment.
